I've talked with the Snap-On vendor about the Epiq toolbox.

He didn't receive the box yet, but he's gonna call me when he'll receive it this week so I can see it.

Kinja'd!!!

I've seen a lot of pictures of the white and black Snap-On Epiq...and I don't think I'm gonna like it. But the vendor told me that he could get a hold of a normal white Epiq demo from the Snap-On Master of Metal tour for probably the same price like this one.

Kinja'd!!!

This is what I want. If I can get a hold of this for the right price with a free toolbox cover, I'm buying it blindly! But I'm also gonna see all the other toolboxes he has for sell. Maybe something else can be even more to my taste for less $$$.

try and find a used one and save a ton of $$. Snap On boxes are like car, they lose a ton of value once they roll off the dealers truck.

I frequent my local pawn shops and always see two or three SO boxes. Almost bought an Extreme Green Classic 96 for $900 (KR2432). New list price is around $5600.. Shop around...

You got to get the spinner rims for the casters.... Just so you can do this. . .

Kinja'd!!!

I don't know if they still offer them but they did try selling them back in 2007. . . Hahahahahahahaha

I can't pay cash, that's the reason. I still have mine, a Extreme Green Classic 76 with a wood work surface that I'm still paying with Snap-On credit right now. The vendor gave me the chance to pay a bit more weekly with the Epiq but I get to finish payments earlier than with the current contract I have with the current toolbox I have. I don't mind and I get a sick and beautiful toolbox that I wanted and wont get tired of (I hope).

I'm laughing my ass off hard there! I gotta rewatch that classic from Chris Rock! Too bad I don't like spinners though. I wonder if they do have other rims for them.

They sell replacement casters for the boxes with different "rim" styles. Its been a long time since I looked at a tool catalog but I do remember the damn spinner rims for the tool boxes.

I've just checked, they don't anymore and the ones I get with the Epiq are the only model I can get. I could plasti-dip them.

Great for the professional tech. Not for the home garage mechanic like most of us. Probably $5K? But nice features.

It's actually 10,700$ without tax brand new. I've managed to get it at 5000$ without tax.
